Reactions to the Taliban cabinet; Panjshir Front: Afghanistan’s new government is illegal

The Panjshir Front, led by Ahmad Massoud, Rahmatullah Nabil and Atta Mohammad Noor, were among those who reacted to the formation of Afghanistan’s new government.

Nearly a month after arriving in Kabul, the Taliban announced their caretaker government, which has provoked a backlash from across Afghanistan.

The Panjshir Front, led by Ahmad Massoud, Rahmatullah Nabil, and Atta Mohammad Noor, were among those who reacted to the formation of a new Afghan government.

The Panjshir Front called the announcement of the new government cabinet illegal and a clear symbol of enmity with the Afghan people.

The front has called on the United Nations, the European Union and other international organizations to refrain from political and diplomatic cooperation with the Taliban.

The Panjshir Front further announced that it would announce the structure of a democratic and accountable transitional government soon after consulting with political figures and specialized cadres.

Rahmatullah Nabil also wrote on his Facebook that “this is not a cabinet, the Haqqani School in Akura Khattak”.

Atta Mohammad Noor also wrote that the Taliban government has no place in the country’s constitution and lacks pure professionalism.

Noor described the Taliban government as mono-ethnic and unprofessional, and posed the question as follows: Is it possible to manage dozens of specialized and professional departments with people whose level of understanding of governance is based on the principles of medieval governance?

He emphasized: I will soon, in line with other political leaders, announce my new vision for political and geographical deconstruction.
