Re-reading the case of Washington spying on Europeans /it is not easy to allying with the United States

The revelation of US spying on its European allies has exposed the true face of the country and will affect relations between the two sides.

European media reported on US spying with the help of the Danish intelligence service from 2012 to 2014 on top European politicians, including German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

In this regard, the Danish Public Radio (DR) announced that, the US National Security Agency (NSA) has been eavesdropping on Danish internet cables to spy on prominent politicians and high-ranking officials in Germany, Sweden, Norway and France. Accordingly, the US National Security Agency (NSA) has used intelligence cooperation with the Danish Army Intelligence Unit (FE) to do this.

Denmark has now been added to the unofficial list of countries that seem to be friends but are actually enemies.

During the US spying on its European allies from 2012 to 2014, then-President Barack Obama was responsible for the scandal. It is now the responsibility of current US President and former Vice President Joe Biden to be able to satisfy his European allies when he travels to Europe in June at the G7 summit.

When the report was released, Washington and Brussels were in the midst of negotiating a Transatlantic Partnership and Investment Partnership Agreement to replace a previous agreement that was overturned by the European Court of Justice over concerns about US espionage. Monday’s report focuses on the European Union on US espionage, legal restrictions and European guarantees.
