Palestinian Ambassador: Peace in the Middle East passes through the full implementation of international laws against Israel’s crimes

Pak Sahafat – The representative of the Palestinian Authority in London stated that the establishment of peace in the Middle East is only possible through the full and equal implementation of international laws against the crimes of the Zionist regime.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, Hossam Zamlat issued a statement, a copy of which was published on the website of the Palestinian Authority, and welcomed the withdrawal of the new London government to abandon the transfer of the country’s embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and said: The relocation of the British embassy should never have been discussed in the first place.

He added: There is a lot of work to create a favorable environment in order to achieve peace in the Middle East and to compensate for the historical injustice caused by the Balfour Declaration 105 years ago.

The Balfour Declaration was a letter written in 1917 by British Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour to Walter Rothschild, a Jewish politician and member of the British House of Commons.

In this letter, the British Foreign Minister announced the “positive position” of his government for “creating a national home for Jews in the land of Palestine”. Many consider the Balfour Declaration as the beginning of the attempt to establish the Zionist regime.

Hossam Zamlat continued his statement and asked the London government to take more steps to compensate for the oppression committed against the oppressed people of Palestine.

He said: We ask the British government to play an active role, to recognize the state of Palestine, to confirm Britain’s support for the rights of Palestinian refugees, to prohibit all illegal goods and products from being established in the occupied territories, and to ban the companies that operate in them.

The representative of the Palestinian Authority pointed out: Full and equal implementation of international laws is the way to a stable and just peace.

Rishi Sunak’s government has withdrawn from the controversial plan of the Liz Truss government to move the country’s embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The British Prime Minister’s spokesman told IRNA reporter in London two days ago that the current government has no plans in this regard.

“Liz Truss”, who considered himself a great supporter of Zionism, planned to move the embassy of this country to Jerusalem in line with the policy of former US President Donald Trump. This decision of his faced a lot of criticism inside, and prominent political figures and civil groups warned about its legal consequences.

Now that Sunak’s government has withdrawn from this decision, human rights groups and defenders of the Palestinian people in England emphasize that the pressure should be intensified against the occupation regime of Al-Quds.
