The Israeli War Weapons Industries Company announced the opening of a branch in the UAE for long-term cooperation with the country’s armed forces.

The Israeli arms company Elbit Systems announced the opening of a branch in the United Arab Emirates, a move that preceded the scheduled visit of the Israeli Minister of War to Dubai over the weekend.
Elbit Systems is a well-known Israeli arms company operating in the aerospace, weapons and information technology sectors, producing a wide range of defense and warfare equipment, including radio communications systems, drones, radars, naval equipment, and weapons.
The company, which makes Hermes military drones for photoelectric reconnaissance systems, said in a statement on Sunday (February 14th) that it had set up the branch for “long-term cooperation with the UAE Armed Forces”.

According to Russia Today, the statement quoted Ron Krill, vice president of the company, which sold more than $ 4.6 billion in 2020: “The UAE and other countries in the region are important new markets for bit systems. We believe that our products are in a good position to meet the needs and opportunities of the region.”
The statement comes as Israeli Air Force Commander General Amikam Norkin is scheduled to travel to the UAE for the first time this weekend under the pretext of attending the Dubai Air Show.
According to the report, Bani Gantz, Minister of War and former Chief of Staff, is scheduled to travel to Dubai this week to inaugurate “Israel’s first pavilion” at the UAE Military Industry Trade Fair.
