“Moscow” banned the wife of the Prime Minister of Canada

Russia’s foreign ministry said in a statement that in response to another round of Canadian sanctions against Moscow, Russia would block the entry of 26 senior Canadian officials and citizens.

According to the Pak Sahafat news agency, quoting the dice, The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that in response to a similar action by the Canadian side, the country will ban 26 Russian citizens from entering Russia.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well as high-ranking military officials, is among those banned from entering Russia.

A statement from Russia’s Foreign Ministry said: In response to the announcement of another round of anti-Russian sanctions by Canadian officials, which included not only government officials but also military and trade officials as well as their close relatives, Russia reciprocally banned similar Canadians from entering its territory.

Canada, along with the United States and other Western allies in the Group of Seven, as well as the Europeans, has imposed a number of sanctions on Russia under the pretext of Moscow’s military operation in Ukraine.
