Earlier, Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups set a one-week deadline for the Zionist regime, saying that if Tel Aviv delayed rebuilding Gaza, tensions with the regime would escalate.

Meanwhile, a Hamas leader told Al Jazeera on Monday evening that the political leaders of this movement and the military council of the Qassam Brigades are considering the option of a military confrontation with the Zionist enemy in the light of the continuing siege and delay in starting the reconstruction of Gaza and the Zionist side’s disregard for its commitments after the 12-day war in the region.
