Lapid will travel to the UAE on his first foreign trip

The new Israeli foreign minister will soon leave for the UAE on his first foreign trip since taking office.

If such a trip takes place, Lapid will be the first Israeli minister to visit the UAE since the compromise agreement was reached; IRNA reported today (Monday) quoting verse 24.

According to the report, the Israeli Foreign Minister will meet with his Emirati counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed during the trip, the exact date of which has not been announced.

I24 reported that it has not been determined yet whether Lapid will also meet with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the current ruler of the UAE, Mohammed bin Zayed, or not. If that happens, it will be the first meeting between an Israeli official and the ruler of the UAE.

On September 15, 2020, the representatives of the Arab countries of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates signed a compromise agreement with the Zionist regime during a ceremony at the White House, so the new government of Tel Aviv is also trying to keep this agreement.

A few days before the Israeli parliament, Naftali Bennett’s fragile cabinet received a vote of confidence with a majority of only one vote, thus ending the work of Benjamin Netanyahu after 12 years.

Some observers say that the Zionist regime is fragile and will not last long, because it is composed of parties that are not politically homogeneous and includes a range of right, center, left and Arab parties.

Netanyahu’s Likud party, meanwhile, is seeking to draft a bill to directly elect a prime minister in parliament, but Netanyahu’s opposition is seeking to block such a bill.
