Khashgeji’s killers were trained in the United States

An American newspaper says that four Saudi agents involved in Khashgeji’s assassination had received military training in the United States a year before the crime.

The New York Times reported that four Saudi operatives involved in the assassination of Jamal Khashgeji, a critical journalist who went missing at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in 2018, were trained in the United States.

They are said to have received military training in the United States a year earlier under the auspices of the US State Department-licensed Cerberus.

Reacting to the Times report, State Department spokesman Ned Price claimed that under the law, the department could not speculate about (so-called) licensed defense services being provided to other countries; to speak.

He also claimed that US policy towards Saudi Arabia was based on giving priority to the rule of law and respect for human rights.

US security reports indicate that Khashgeji was assassinated and his body was slaughtered with the consent of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Earlier, in response to questions from members of Congress, Cerberus acknowledged its role in educating four of Khashgeji’s assassins, but the Trump administration refused to provide those answers to Congress.

Of course, the Biden administration did not take any action against bin Salman despite knowing about his role in this horrific crime, and only with this justification (which, unlike the Trump administration) is on the side of our dialogue, King Salman and not the Saudi Crown Prince, silenced the case.

Permission to provide paramilitary training to the Saudi Royal Guard was first issued in 2014 by the Obama administration’s State Department and lasted for up to a year after Trump took office.
