Japan asks people to save electricity in winter

Pak Sahafat – On Tuesday, the Japanese government officially decided to ask households and businesses across the country to save electricity this winter.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report on Tuesday, quoting Kyodo News, this is the first time in the last seven years that the Japanese government has made such a request to the people of this country.

According to this report, following the spread of the war in Ukraine and the disruption of world markets, Japan has asked the people of this country to save electricity consumption from December 1st of this year to the end of March next year.

It is expected that Japan will increase the capacity rate of its reserve source to 3%, which is the minimum level necessary for sustainable energy supply in Japan for the winter season. But the Japanese government is determined to ensure it has enough energy to heat homes.

During the electricity saving period, the people of this country have been asked to wear warm clothes in their homes.

Also, the Japanese government has decided to consider incentive packages for low-consumption households with the aim of encouraging people to save electricity.
