Islamophobia in Europe and turning it into violence against Muslims

Although Islamophobia has shifted to digital platforms in recent years due to corona restrictions, it has in fact turned into violence against Muslims.

According to Pak Sahafat news agency, Muslim women were increasingly targeted by physical attacks after Islamophobia was transferred to digital platforms due to corona restrictions.

Inhumane racist ideologies have led to acts of violence against Muslims that have left them with serious casualties beyond their physical attacks due to their religious identity.

A new report on Islamophobia in Europe, prepared by a number of academics, experts and activists, shows the development of Islamophobia in the continent over the past year.

The report compiles the racist acts and attacks faced by Muslims in politics, media and social life, and emphasizes that although hate for muslims has spread to digital platforms, physical violence continues to plague Muslims, especially Muslim women.

Nine Muslims killed in racist violence in the German city of Hanau, two Muslims injured in Denmark by extremist groups, religious insult to Turkish embassy in Estonia A mosque in Kosovo, Serbia, was set on fire, an immigrant center in Serbia was attacked, two Muslim women in Spain were physically abused and threatened in front of their children, three Muslims were beaten in Montenegro, and so on. They are caused by Islamophobia on the Green Continent.

The important point is that these crimes remained largely without prosecution.
