Formation of the “Resistance against Zionism” movement in Egypt

A number of Egypt and Arab figures have stated their opposition to any normalization of relations with the Zionist regime by holding a conference in Cairo entitled “Anti-Natural Allies”.

The “Anti-Naturalism Alliance” (United Against Compromise) conference was held in Cairo with the participation of Egyptian opposition leaders and about 500 Arab figures.

The participants in the conference expressed their opposition to any normalization of the Arab countries’ relations with the Zionist regime, as well as their support for the Palestinians.

“Hamdin Sabahi”, the former candidate for the presidency of Egypt and one of the prominent opponents of Egypt, attended the conference and emphasized in his speech: There are three facts, and that is that the normalization of relations is one side of the conflict between the ummah and the enemy, which is more prominent at this stage and its war scene is wider.

According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, a group of opposition leaders, thinkers and academics also announced the formation of a resistance movement against Zionism in Egypt.

A number of prominent Egyptian figures, including Awatif Abdel-Rahman, a professor of journalism at Cairo University’s Faculty of Media, Ahmed al-Khamisi, Amin Iskander, and Mohammed Abdel-Hakam Diab, Egyptian literary figures, are members of the movement.

The movement’s statement reads: The Arab world, especially Egypt, is facing dangerous challenges that threaten its existence and future. A blacker tunnel is under way than the Commodity, Wadi Arab and Oslo Accords to turn the compromising Arabs into defenders of the regime.

The statement warned of the need to confront these Zionist conspiracies by warning about the Zionist regime’s efforts to plunder more of the lands and wealth of the Arab countries and to divide them under racial, religious and religious pretexts.
