Fire on the gas platform of the Zionist regime in Haifa

Published pictures and videos of the occupied city of Haifa show that a gas platform belonging to the Zionist regime has caught fire.

Israeli social media users shared images Monday evening of a large fire on a natural gas extraction platform off the coast of Haifa.

According to Sputnik news agency, the published images and videos show a large volume of fire coming from the upper part of this gas platform belonging to the Zionist regime in the occupied city of Haifa.

The Israeli media first tried to portray the incident as normal, claiming that the fire was caused by excess gas leaking from the torch. However, the residents of the coastal part of Haifa had never seen such large flames and this attracted their attention.

After the claim, the Zionist media, acknowledging the unusualness of the incident, said that a “technical problem” had caused the fire. No one was injured or killed in the incident.

According to Sputnik, there are two gas platforms “Leviathan” and “Tamar” on the shores of the occupied city of Haifa in the Mediterranean Sea, but the Israeli media did not mention which platform was affected.

However, the intensity of the fire was so great that it could be seen from great distances.

The news agency notes that the remarkable point of this news is that it coincides with the recent clashes between the Zionist regime and the Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip. In the past week, more than 3,000 rockets and missiles have been fired into the occupied territories, some of which have even reached Haifa, Netanya and Nablus.

Earlier, one of the facilities of the Bazan oil refinery in Haifa had caught fire on a large scale, at which time the Zionists claimed that there was a technical problem.
