Erdogan: House construction for one million Syrians is underway

Pak Sahafat – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the construction of houses to house about one million people in northern Syria is underway for the return of Syrian refugees.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Turkey’s Anatolia news agency, Erdogan added that government bodies and civil organizations have built brick houses in northern Syria.

The President of Turkey said: The work of building new houses to accommodate about one million Syrians is being done with the support of Qatar.

He added: Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu went to northern Syria and supervised the implementation of the residential units project, and with this project, we have started the infrastructure for the voluntary return of Syrians.

Erdogan added: We will not return Syrians to their country by deportation or force, we will return them in a manner that is worthy of human and Islamic values.

The President of Turkey further emphasized that his country’s forces will continue to target terrorists inside and outside of this country regarding the fight against terrorism.

Erdogan also announced the beginning of the operation to return about 500,000 Syrian refugees living in Turkey to their country.

The president of Turkey made these statements while Syrian observers and circles believe that Ankara is pursuing the goal of changing the geography and population structure by settling and settling refugees in northern Syria.

Last year, the Syrian Parliament issued a statement about this and announced that with its occupation in northern Syria, Turkey intends to start a new wave of forced displacement of the residents of this region, and as a result, it will change its demographic structure and create a new reality.
