Demonstrations of Zionist judges against Netanyahu’s cabinet/ opposition to Bibi’s judicial immunity plan

Pak Sahafat – The judges of the Zionist regime, while holding protest demonstrations against the new judicial plans of this regime, including the judicial immunity of the prime minister, declared them an attack on the judicial system.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, quoted by the French news agency, “Yariv Levin”, the new Minister of Justice of the Zionist regime, announced last week about new programs in this ministry, which provide the basis for politicians to escape from the decisions of the Supreme Court and change the process of appointing judges.

Judges in the judicial system of the Zionist regime have been selected by a committee consisting of politicians, lawyers and judges under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice, but Levin’s plan gives politicians and members of the Knesset (Parliament) more powers to play a role in selecting judges.

Esther Hayot, the head of the Supreme Court of the Zionist regime, announced in a judicial meeting: the new plans of the Minister of Justice are not to reform it, but to suppress it and take the independence of the judicial system and turn it into a silent institution.

He said: This is an unbridled attack on the judicial system and it is assumed that the judicial system is an enemy that must be overcome.

Zionist lawyers in the occupied territories also demonstrated in Tel Aviv on Thursday against Levin’s plans.

Reputation for corruption is another characteristic of Netanyahu

In response to Hayot’s statements, Levin accused him of politicking and encouraging judges to disobey and rebel.

One of the projects of the new Minister of Justice of the Zionist regime is to give the Knesset the authority to exclude some people from the charges raised in the Supreme Court. Analysts have evaluated the purpose of this plan to create judicial immunity for the person of Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister who was falsely referred to as Bibi, whose corruption and fraud case is still open in the Supreme Court.

Yair Lapid, the former prime minister of the Zionist regime and the leader of the opposition coalition in the Knesset, said about the Justice Minister’s plan: “Approving Levin’s plans means removing democracy.”

Meanwhile, the former head of this regime also criticized Netanyahu’s far-right cabinet’s actions to change judicial laws and warned of a coup against the judiciary and the Supreme Court of this regime.

“Roven Rivlin” said in a speech: changing laws should be based on agreement with the judicial system, and emotions, revenge and other personal motives should not be the basis of legislation.

“Aharon Barak”, the former head of the Supreme Court of the Zionist regime, in an interview with Channel 13 of this regime, by attacking the Minister of Justice of this regime, considered these changes as a threat to the powers of the Supreme Court.

He also revealed one of the reasons for Netanyahu’s cabinet’s efforts to change judicial laws and said: The changes made are aimed at helping Netanyahu in his corruption cases.

The appointment of very extreme and hard-line figures, including “Itamar Ben Goyer” as the minister of internal security in the cabinet of the Zionist regime, has raised the voice of the Zionists. They consider Ben Guerr as part of the “riotous thugs” and a danger to this regime.
