Demonstrations of Londoners; Stop sending weapons to Ukraine

Pak Sahafat – A significant number of British citizens protested in the streets of “London” and demanded to stop sending weapons to Ukraine.

According to the report of Pak Sahafat International News Agency, a significant number of people in London, the capital of England, staged a demonstration on Saturday demanding peace in Ukraine and an end to sending more weapons to Kyiv.

According to “Anatolia” news agency, in a demonstration held by the “Stop the War” coalition in the center of London, protesters chanted anti-war slogans while holding signs against sending more weapons to Ukraine.

Jeremy Corbyn, the former leader of the British Labor Party, was among the participants in the anti-war demonstrations. Dalia Sanchez, one of the anti-war activists present at the demonstration, said she just wants to see the end of the war because too many people have died on both sides.

John Clark, one of the other participants in this demonstration, also said that the expansion of NATO to Eastern Europe is not right.

Clark said the Russia-Ukraine war should be ended through diplomatic efforts and no weapons should be sent.

Talia, among other anti-war activists, said in an interview with Anatolia news agency: America moves in the world for its own interests.

He added: I believe that we should stop sending weapons, we should start talking. We must understand that Russia is a big and powerful country and we must not forget that Russia is a big nuclear country.

Meanwhile, Western countries, including England and America, are standing by Ukraine and sending weapons to this country in the battle between Ukraine and Russia. Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy of the Russian Security Council, said today that the US military aid to Ukraine will soon reach 50 billion dollars.

He said: Russia is now facing a coalition of about 50 countries that want to remove it from the map, but unlike Ukraine, it has no leader and needs orders and charity to be able to defend its people and sovereignty alone.
