Demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people in London and American cities

Thousands of citizens of the British capital and a number of American cities rallied and marched in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.

Thousands of citizens of the British and American capitals demonstrated in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Thousands of Americans rallied in front of the State Department building in Washington on Wednesday morning to demand government support for the Palestinian people, according to Newsweek.

The large gathering was attended by groups ranging from Muslims to Orthodox Jewish groups, and Rashid Talib, a Palestinian member of the US House of Representatives, also addressed the gathering.

In his speech, Talib described the Zionist regime’s actions against the Palestinian people as “racist” and condemned the Biden government’s support for the regime.

In addition to him, Andrew Carson, another Democratic member of the US House of Representatives who attended the large demonstration, wrote in a Twitter message: “Americans, by all accounts, have a moral obligation to protect human rights wherever they are threatened. Whether in Sheikh Jarrah or anywhere else in the world.

The rally of several thousand people marched to the White House after a few hours and chanted slogans in support and solidarity with the Palestinian people.

According to the Daily Mail, in addition to Washington, New York City was also the scene of a large turnout of citizens in support of the Palestinians, but this large gathering led to clashes with Zionist supporters and police intervention.

The conflict in occupied Palestine has been so tense for several days that some refer to it as a new intifada. The situation was aggravated by the fact that the Zionist militias attacked the Al-Aqsa Mosque in different stages of the morning (May 10th), coinciding with the 28th month of Ramadan, and turned it into a battlefield, using sound bombs and tear gas plastic bullets and even metal bullets targeted worshipers and sit-in protesters at the shrine.

In response to these crimes, the Palestinian resistance forces took action. The occupied territories, including Quds, Asqalan, Tel Aviv and the Zionist settlements around the Gaza Strip, have been witnessing widespread rocket attacks since yesterday evening, following the warning of Palestinian resistance groups. The Zionist army has also called in a number of its reserve forces and is bombing blind areas in the Gaza Strip.

According to the latest reports, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced in a statement this afternoon (Wednesday) that 43 people have been killed and 296 others injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
