Criminalization of relations with the Zionist regime in the Algerian parliament

Pak Sahafat – Algerian lawmakers have submitted a bill to parliament for approval, which would be a crime if it had any ties to the Zionist regime.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International group, quoting Anatoly, Algerian lawmakers on Tuesday presented a bill to pass that criminalizes any ties to the Zionist regime. If the plan is approved, any trip to Tel Aviv or direct or indirect contact of Algerian citizens with this regime will be considered a crime.

Youssef Ajsa, a member of the Society for Peace Movement party, submitted the bill to the Algerian parliament.

The Society for Peace Movement is an Islamic party and is the largest opposition party in the Algerian parliament.

The plan includes seven articles aimed at criminalizing the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime, as well as banning any contact with Israel or travel to occupied Palestine.

For initial approval, the bill requires a majority of members of parliament (50 + 1) to be referred to the Senate for final approval.

Algeria has cut off all diplomatic or trade relations with Israel. This position of the government is strongly supported by the people and politicians of this country.
