China surpassing America in emerging technologies

Pak Sahafat – At the same time that Western countries are lagging behind in the global competition in scientific research, China has succeeded in surpassing America and the West in 37 cases out of 44 sensitive and important emerging key technologies in recent years.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report on Friday morning from Reuters, the Australian Institute for Strategic Policy announced in a report that its research shows that in some fields, all the top 10 research institutes in the world are located in China.

According to this study, which was commissioned by the US Department of State, although the US is the leader in global research in the fields of supercomputers, quantum computing, small satellites and vaccines, it ranks second after China in other fields of technology.

It is stated in this report: Western countries have lost the lead to China in the global competition of advanced technologies, including scientific and research developments.

While requesting Western governments to increase investment in research programs, this report added: The Chinese government’s programs in the field of effective research have achieved stunning progress.

This Australian think tank emphasizes that if the research programs of the Chinese government had been monitored, China’s tremendous progress in the field of hypersonic missiles would have been predicted much earlier, after reviewing the popular scientific articles that have led to new inventions.

According to this report, in the last five years, 48.49 percent of the world’s important scientific and research articles in the fields of advanced aircraft propulsion, including supersonic rocket propulsion, were related to China.

The power and progress of China in the field of quantum communication and optical sensors is so great that soon the spy and intelligence machine of the West, led by America, England, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, will not be able to identify Chinese planes.

Also, China will soon have a monopoly in 10 fields, including synthetic biology, which covers a third of China’s research, as well as new batteries, the fifth generation of Internet networks, and nano industry.

The Chinese Academy of Sciences ranks first or second in the world in 44 emerging technologies in the fields of defense, space, robotics, energy, environment, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, advanced materials and quantum technology.
