According to the report, predictions are becoming increasingly difficult as rising voter turnout could give Democrats a chance to hold on to power.
According to CBS, if the November election sees a large turnout of young voters and Americans of color, the Democrats are expected to retain the majority with 218 seats to the Republicans’ 217 seats.
But if turnout among white voters picks up, Republicans could pull off a bigger victory, picking up 238 seats to 197 for Democrats.
