British analyst: Western support for Israeli apartheid knows no bounds

Pak Sahafat – Criticizing Western support for Israel’s apartheid regime, a British political analyst said that World Al-Quds Day was a religious obligation to commemorate suffering and injustice against the Palestinians.

According to the Pak Sahafat News agency on Monday, Rodney Shakespeare called World Al-Quds Day more than an annual occasion, adding that it was a religious imperative to commemorate injustice in Palestine and would last forever as a religious order.

World Al-Quds Day march in London yesterday (Sunday) after a two-year hiatus due to the Corona epidemic, attended by hundreds of fasting Muslims, clerics, civil society activists, human rights and anti-war groups, as well as Jewish and Christian anti-Zionist activists from Held in front of the British Home Office.

Demonstrators marched through the central streets of London, in front of the British Parliament and Foreign Office, and then gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s Office. They chanted anti-Israel slogans and called for an end to the occupation, violence and apartheid in occupied Palestine.

During the demonstrations, anti-Israel speakers and figures in Britain condemned the crimes committed in occupied Palestine and called for the globalization of the Intifada and the pressure of the international community to stop the illegal actions of the occupiers of Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, Orthodox Jewish rabbis from the anti-Israel movement “Naturi Karta” declared their innocence from the crimes of the Zionist regime, called on the protesters and demanded the complete destruction of “Israel”. They shouted that Judaism was separate from Zionism and opposed to crime in Palestine.

In response to a question about the continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes in occupied Palestine, Rodney Shakespeare said: Israel is an apartheid entity located in an occupied territory. Israel is an anti-democratic element that has deprived Palestine of its right to vote.

In response to another question about the double standard of the West in not condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime, he stated that the hypocrisy and the West’s continued support for Israeli violence in Palestine knows no bounds.

Earlier, Massoud Shajreh, the head of the British Islamic Human Rights Commission and the main coordinator of the Al-Quds Day march, said that Britain was the second power in the world, after the United States, to support the Zionist regime unconditionally.
