Brazilian president’s attack on America’s warmongering policies

Pak Sahafat – The Brazilian president stated that “the United States has been thinking only about war for years” and announced his efforts to convince his American counterpart Joe Biden to invest in this important South American country instead of financing conflicts.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report on Sunday, quoting from Sputnik Mundo, Lula da Silva, who has repeatedly criticized America’s warmongering policies in recent months, once again criticized the increasing financial and military support of the Biden administration during his Growth Acceleration Program (PAC).

He said: “We tell Biden that the United States has only thought about war over the years and does not think about investing in Brazil.” Invest some money in Brazil!

The PAC initiative, which aims to raise $340 billion in the coming years, is a hybrid project that will be financed by public funds and private investment; In this regard, da Silva asked Brazilian officials to travel to countries around the world “to sell these projects”, Projects that focus on areas such as infrastructure, education and oil extraction.

According to media reports, Da Silva plans to talk with his American counterpart on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, which will be held in New York next September.

Lula da Silva also announced efforts to attract funds from China and the European Union in favor of the South American giant.

The president of Brazil, who during his first two terms of office (2003-2010) emphasized on strengthening the multipolar order and was one of the factors in the creation of BRICS (an alliance of emerging world economies consisting of Brazil, China, Russia, South Africa, and India), in the months later has also clearly shown its resistance to supporting the proxy war of America and its European partners against Russia in Ukraine.

During his visit to Beijing in April 2023, the Brazilian president told reporters: The United States should stop waging war and talk about peace; The European Union must talk about peace.

Da Silva has also proposed the creation of a group of neutral countries to mediate in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
