Biden: America is losing its edge against China

Pak Sahafat – US President Joe Biden admitted that the United States is losing its superiority against China.

US President Joe Biden reiterated his commitment to investing in American infrastructure and emphasized the importance of industrial development of biotechnology in his country.

Biden, who has traveled to Boston, also defended his initiative to develop new treatments and reduce the death rate from cancer in a speech at the John F. Kennedy Library in this city.

On the 60th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s speech, which asked Americans to be leaders in space exploration, the President of the United States said: Cancer does not matter if you are a Republican or a Democrat.

Comparing his goal to reduce cancer deaths with John F. Kennedy’s goal to reach the moon, Biden added: Today, I set a long-term goal to fight cancer to give new life to American ingenuity.

On Monday local time, the President of the United States signed the Executive Order on Biotechnology and Bio production.

The White House announced that the United States has relied too much on the products and bio-production industry of foreign countries in the past, and the transfer of activities of vital industries outside the United States have threatened the ability of the United States to access chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

The White House stated that the purpose of signing this executive order is to push American innovation towards economic and social success and to become aware of the capabilities of biotechnology that can produce everything we use in our daily lives.

The White House will host a meeting in this regard next week, and government institutions are going to announce new investments and budgets in this regard.

This is while the US Department of Commerce has announced that it has released a plan to implement a $50 billion program to pay computers to domestic chip manufacturers and expand research in this field.
