Biden admits: Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires

Announcing that he did not apologize for leaving Afghanistan, the US President stressed that Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires.

According to the Pak Sahafat news agency, US President Joe Biden defended the military withdrawal from Afghanistan in the first press conference of the New Year.

He added that there was no easy way to leave Afghanistan after two decades.

“Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires,” the US president said.

Biden also said that billions of dollars were spent in Afghanistan on the costs of the war in Afghanistan. The war resulted in nothing but financial costs and receiving the coffins of American soldiers.
