Arrest of an American soldier for collaborating with ISIS

A spokesman for Manhattan Federal Court in New York announced the arrest of a US soldier on charges of trying to cooperate with ISIS as well as attempting terrorist acts in the United States.

U.S. officials have arrested a U.S. military man on suspicion of plotting to a terrorist attack and blew up the 9/11 memorial and attacked US troops in the West Asian region.

According to the National News Agency, “Nicholas Bias,” the spokesman for the federal prosecutor in the Manhattan area of ​​New York, says, James Bridge is currently in custody on charges of supporting terrorist organizations, including ISIS, and attempting to assassinate US troops.

The 20-year-old serves in the Fort Stewart 3rd Infantry Division in Georgia, and his thoughts are with ISIS.

The U.S. Attorney General also said that FBI police monitored his remarks in an online conversation about the instructions, tactics, and manuals for the 9/11 memorial attacks, as well as other targets in New York City.

“According to the evidence, Mr. Bridge has betrayed our country, as well as his military unit, and has plotted to attack and kill another person who is a sympathizer of the ISIS terrorist group,” said William Swinny, the FBI’s New York police chief.

“Fortunately, the person Bridge contacted was an FBI agent, and we were able to prevent him from carrying out his evil plans,” Sweeney said.

Bridge is scheduled to appear in federal court in Augusta, Georgia on Thursday. This US soldier has joined the US military in September 2019.

According to US officials, he has been campaigning for extremism and violence since joining the military, and has expressed frustration with the US military’s willingness to help the ISIS terrorist group.
