Anti-Netanyahu protests continue for the 37th week in a row

Zionist protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continue for the 37th week in front of his house and other parts of the 1948 occupied territories. Demonstrators are calling for Netanyahu to step down and speed up his trial on charges of corruption and bribery.

Rasem Eidat, a political analyst, said: I believe that holding such demonstrations and spreading them will help achieve his goals and get rid of Netanyahu, and that Netanyahu will end up in prison and spend a few years in prison, as did former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

The reporter added: Demonstrators filled public squares and city centers, and some gathered in front of Netanyahu’s official headquarters in occupied Jerusalem and his special headquarters in Caesarea. The rally was held on Netanyahu’s own orders, despite widespread police deployment and efforts to crack down on protesters. Netanyahu is desperately trying to escape trial at any cost.

Eidat said: The increase in protests and participants is beneficial given the political and security changes and differences between the various parties, especially between Netanyahu and Gantz’s parties, and may accelerate Netanyahu’s downfall.

Netanyahu’s policy of ignoring the protests and failing to contain or suppress them, or even to delegitimize them, has been useless, as protesters chanted slogans to continue the protests until Netanyahu was ousted.

The demonstrators say that Netanyahu should leave this house and be tried for corruption-related issues, and that we will continue these movements until this goal is achieved.
