Anti-Israel figures in Britain emphasized the destruction of the Zionist regime

Pak Sahafat – In a statement on the occasion of World Al-Quds Day, anti-Israel figures in Britain stressed the need to eliminate the Zionist regime as the only solution to end crime and apartheid in the occupied territories.

In a recent interview in London Britain, a number of civil society activists, political analysts and university professors acknowledged that western governments and major international organizations have failed to resolve the Palestinian question, and all proposed solutions have failed because of their biased views.

They stressed that the UN Security Council had so far failed to fulfill its responsibilities under the UN Charter to end the occupation of the Palestinian territories.

Rodney Shakespeare, a political analyst in Britain, said the West’s hypocrisy and continued support for Israeli violence in Palestine knew no bounds.

He stated that Israel is an apartheid entity located in an occupied territory. Israel is an anti-democratic element that has deprived Palestine of its right to vote.

The political analyst therefore called World Al-Quds Day more than an annual occasion, adding that it is a religious imperative to commemorate injustice in Palestine and will last forever as a religious order.

Meanwhile, Haim Bersith, a professor at Swaz University (SOAS) and a member of the Center for Palestinian Studies, said: The annual Al-Quds Day march is important because it brings together Jews, Christians and Muslims to show their support for the Palestinian people, who are occupied by the Israeli colonial and apartheid regime. Referring to the World Al-Quds Day march in London Britain, he added that the participants in the protest movement hope to “get rid of this regime”.

Hundreds of fasting Muslims, clerics, civil society activists, human rights and anti-war groups, as well as Jewish and Christian anti-Zionist activists marched in front of the Ministry of Al-Quds in London last Sunday after a two-year hiatus due to the Corona epidemic.

Demonstrators marched through the central streets of London, in front of the British Parliament and Foreign Office, and then gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s Office. They chanted anti-Israel slogans calling for an end to the occupation, violence and apartheid in occupied Palestine.

Haim Bersith said that the Zionists are trying to drive the Palestinians out of their land. “They expelled two-thirds of the Palestinians in 1948 and now they want to displace the rest of the population.”

He described “launching a bloodbath” as one of the ways to achieve the illegal goals of the Zionists, and referred to the recent incidents in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the Zionist regime’s military and settlers have launched attacks on the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian worshipers, injuring and killing dozens of Palestinians.

The Swaz University professor cited the recent incidents at Al-Aqsa Mosque as an example of the Zionist regime’s “hateful” actions, adding that they intend to destroy this “holy and important place” and turn it into a Jewish temple by sacrificing an animal.

Extremist Jews believe that in order to revive the Temple, which they claim was built by Solomon, a sheep should be taken to the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque and sacrificed as a sign of spiritual readiness, and its blood should be shed on the pavement of the mosque.

So far, Palestinian Muslims have not been allowed to do so, but the Zionist movement has set a $ 3,100 reward for anyone who can do so.

Heim Bershith called the extremist beliefs of the Zionists disgusting, immoral and illegal, which only leads to the outbreak of conflict in the region. He called on the international community to oppose the actions of the Zionist regime and warned that the actions of the Zionists would intensify the conflict and threaten the security of the region.

“Aaron Cohen, an Orthodox Jewish rabbi, told media: The correct view of Judaism is completely opposite to what is called Zionism. He explained: Zionism is a nationalist movement that originated about 100 years ago and contradicts the teachings of Judaism.

This Jewish cleric introduced Zionism as a cause of misery and bloodshed; it has been a disaster since the movement was formed.

Supporting World Al-Quds Day, Cohen noted that true Judaism advocates that the Palestinian people rule their country and rule in any way.

Al-Hannan Beck, another Jewish rabbi, told media that the Zionists had disobeyed God’s command and that their fate was sinister and doomed to failure. He added: Even if the Palestinians make peace with the Zionists, “we will never recognize Israel and we are 100% sure that they will be destroyed.
