Ansarullah Leader: The United States is planning to build bases in eastern Yemen

Pak Sahafat – The leader of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, Abdul Malik Badruddin al-Houthi, said on Thursday night that the United States is now seeking to build bases in the two areas after reassuring its mercenaries that it will carry out programs in Hazrat Mutt and Al-Mohra.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Al-Mayadin, Badruddin al-Houthi clarified: In the shadow of the ceasefire, the enemies explicitly say that they are preparing ammunition, and this shows how they approach the next stage [for the war in Yemen].

In another part of his remarks, he referred to the issue of normalization of Arab countries’ relations with the Zionist regime, and said that normalization is a title for the Chinese introduction of the region to Israel.

Badr al-Houthi, with an implicit reference to the UAE, added: Those who lead the enemy against us are the ones who lead the process of normalization of relations with the Zionist regime.

Earlier, some Yemeni sources announced that the United Arab Emirates would continue to cooperate with the Zionist regime in the construction of housing units and the implementation of the urban development plan on the island of Socotra in the southern waters of Yemen with Tel Aviv.

The aim of the UAE plan was to expand the Zionist regime’s military presence on the island of Socotra, so that the Tel Aviv regime would try to take the region to the center of its espionage operations by plundering the underlying resources and eroding the resistance.

Emirati companies have recently been bringing Zionist tourists to the island of Socotra due to the expansion of Israeli military bases on the island.

Earlier on January 17, Yemeni sources reported that the Zionist regime was helping the United Arab Emirates to establish a new military base on the island of Socotra in southern Yemen.

According to these sources, this new base will be established in coordination with the Zionist regime’s intelligence service.

Satellite images released by the IKAD research site of the UAE military base in Abdul Kuri show airport runways 540 meters long and 30 meters wide.

The Zionist regime seeks a more colorful presence on the coasts and islands of Yemen in order to increase its espionage activities and to dominate the world’s most important shipping route in southern Yemen.

The news comes months after a team of foreign experts began surveying the UAE’s second military airport in the city of Hadibu (central Socotra).
