An American politician stated that if Pakistan disintegrated and Balochistan became independent, the United States could benefit from it in Afghanistan.
According to the Pak Sahafat news agency, referring to the US’s scandalous withdrawal from Afghanistan, Republican politician Bob Lancia tweeted that the situation could have been different if Washington had partnered with Delhi instead of Islamabad.
Referring to India’s strategic position and geopolitical power as an actor to secure US interests in South Asia, the US politician said that if Balochistan was an independent country, the United States could use Pakistan to supply American forces in Afghanistan instead of dependent on Pakistan.

He suggested separating Balochistan from Pakistan: An independent Balochistan provided direct US access to Afghanistan to supply our forces without relying on Pakistan, which was clearly playing a double game.
Lancia added: If the Golgotha-Baltistan region was under Indian control, US forces in Afghanistan could receive supplies directly from India, a democratic and friendly country, rather than dependent on Pakistan’s unreliable, double-edged sword.
The American politician continued: Indian-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan will also be a major blow to America’s number one rival, China, and the Belt and Road Initiative, by barring China from having direct access to the Arabian Sea ports.
Bob Lancia is a Republican and former member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives who is running for the House of Representatives.
