American media: The changes in the Chinese Communist Party indicate that Beijing is paying more attention to Washington

Pak Sahafat – American media CNBC wrote that the recent political event in China and some changes in the political committee of the Communist Party show that the new composition of this party will focus more on developing cooperation with America than before.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, quoting from “CNBC” news site, Chinese state media announced that Foreign Minister Wang Yi has joined the new Politburo, the second-highest seat of power. This is despite the fact that earlier it seems that he will retire.

Yang Jiechi, a veteran Chinese diplomat who had a history of cooperation with the United States, was not retained in the new political office of China. Yang has headed the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Party Central Committee and is expected to retire soon.

According to Yang, it seems that due to the fact that China is trying to grow its economy, the ground has been prepared to reduce the tension between China and the United States.

He pointed out that in the 1970s, during the Chinese Cultural Revolution, strict policies were adopted regarding the development of the Chinese economy. During this period, Chinese leader Mao Zedong decided to develop relations between Beijing and Washington.

Following the global spread of the Corona virus in early 2020, international travel was largely restricted and this affected the development of diplomatic relations between countries in the world.

Biden has previously said that he will meet with the Chinese leader if he attends the G20 summit in November this year.

Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China refused to confirm Xi’s attendance at the G20 summit, but has announced that it will inform about this at the appropriate time.

In March 2018, one month after the start of US-China trade negotiations, the US government published the 301 inspection report against Chinese goods and announced that it would add 25% to the customs tariff of 50 billion Chinese goods.

According to this report, in May 2018, just 10 days after the two countries issued a joint statement on the absence of a trade war, the US government announced the continuation of the implementation of the increase in customs tariffs on Chinese goods, contrary to this agreement.

In response to these US tariff measures, China has so far imposed tariffs on $120 billion of US goods

US President Joe Biden, whose government is facing an unprecedented jump in the inflation rate in the last 30 years and himself is facing a popularity crisis, is trying to control the situation and save his government by issuing economic orders.
