According to Al-Ahd News Agency, figures from the Islamic Jihad movement and fighters of Saraya Al-Quds and his family greeted him at the Beit Hanoun crossing in Gaza.

Participants in the welcoming ceremony for the Palestinian freedom fighter held Palestinian flags and the Islamic Jihad movement, as well as placards congratulating him on spending seventeen years of his youth behind bars under the occupier Zionist regime.

Speaking after his release, Abu Jazer said: “My happiness is indescribable, but I am saddened that I left our captive brothers alone. He added: “The message of the captive Palestinian men and women is a strong message to all those who hold their guns to unite to free them from the prisons of Zionist oppression.”

The Palestinian freedom fighter called unity the cornerstone of the Palestinian nation and a stronghold against an enemy that is happy with the internal rift in Palestine.
