A convoy of 30 trucks of US military equipment and logistics arrives in Iraq

A convoy of trucks carrying military equipment and ammunition belonging to the US-led International Coalition arrived in Syria today from Iraq.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, a convoy of US-led international coalition trucks entered Syria today from Iraqi Kurdistan.

According to Russia Today, a convoy of 30 trucks entered Syria through the Al-Waleed border crossing on the border with Iraqi Kurdistan and crossed the Syrian city of Al-Qamishli to the provinces of Al-Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor.

The convoy included several fuel tankers and some military vehicles and trucks carrying logistics.

This is the first American military convoy to enter Syria from Iraq in the New Year. In late December, a US military convoy of 30 trucks entered Syria from Iraq.

Syria, meanwhile, considers the presence of the American occupiers on its territory illegal and has repeatedly stated that it will end it. Residents of the US-occupied territories have also repeatedly protested.

The United States has set up bases in several parts of Syria’s Al-Jazeera region, particularly in the country’s oil and gas fields, with the aim of stealing and smuggling natural resources.

Washington, backed by Kurdish militias known as the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), smuggles resources from the fields to bases in neighboring countries on a monthly basis.
