17 people were arrested in Istanbul on charges of collaborating with ISIS

Pak Sahafat – Turkish security forces announced the arrest of 17 people in Istanbul province on charges of working in the ISIS terrorist group.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, “Anatolia” news agency, Turkey’s anti-terrorism team arrested these people who are accused of cooperating with the terrorist group and working in conflict areas.

Turkey’s anti-terrorism team raided 5 different areas in Istanbul, arrested these people and sent them to the Istanbul Security Department for questioning.

During this arrest, the security team has obtained digital devices and documents.

From time to time, Turkey announces the arrest of people accused of membership or activity in the ISIS terrorist hacking group.

Ankara also announced last year that the country’s intelligence agencies have arrested 11 ISIS members in the so-called “Operation Euphrates Shield” in northern Syria.

According to this report, Turkish forces recorded and seized a large number of technological devices, including more than 4,000 electronic bomb detonators and hundreds of circuit boards and voltage meters from these people.

This report stated that during preliminary interrogations, these people admitted that they provided logistical support for ISIS attacks at the beginning of this year in the “Ghoyran” prison in Haskeh province in northeastern Syria.
