$ 1.5 million damage in Trump supporters’ attack on Congress building

Federal prosecutors say a deadly January 6 attack by Trump supporters on a congressional building caused more than $ 1.5 million in damage.

According to Reuters, federal prosecutors recently announced that the attack by Donald Trump extremist supporters on the Congress building on January 6 caused more than $ 1.5 million in damage.

According to the report, federal prosecutors said: The people accused of being involved in this attack must pay the damages.

So far, more than 450 people have been arrested in connection with the attack on the US Capitol. This is the first time federal prosecutors have estimated the damage to the congressional building.

On Wednesday, January 6, at least five people, including a police officer, were killed during a raid by former President Donald Trump‘s supporters on Congress.

Following the incident, the Pentagon began sending National Guard troops to Washington, increasing the number of troops stationed in Washington every day, so that on the day of Biden’s inauguration (February 1), more than 20,000 US National Guard troops were stationed in Washington, especially around Congress.

The National Guard was originally scheduled to be stationed only for Biden’s inauguration, but its mission was extended until March 12 due to security concerns.
