Senate Chairman Sadiq SAnjrani rejects Israrullah Zehri’s allegations

Islamabad: Sadiq Sanjrani said “I did not say anything to Zehri about Senate elections and if I had to say something I would have gone to his house.” Earlier, Former federal minister, BNP-Awami chief and Balochistan government’s ally Mir Israrullah Zehri has claimed that Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani had sent him a message asking him to withdraw in favour of the Senate candidates, being supported by Sanjrani, otherwise he will be ‘thrown out’ of the politics for good.

Senate Chairman Sadiq SAnjrani has rejected allegations that he had threatened former federal minister and BNP-Awami chief Mir Israrullah Zehri. Sadiq Sanjrani told the Private TV channel that Israrullah Zehri is his relative and they do not have such traditions. Responding to a question about future strategy, Sanjrani said “We will see to it when the Senate elections are over.”

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani said development of Pakistan is connected with the development of railways therefore, we should work for the development of railways. “Railways is the key for the national economy,” he added. Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati said Pakistan Railways has an important role in the development of country’s economy. Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Sunday, he said the government is committed to the development of railways. He said we are also determined to purge corruption from the railways.
