Pak Sahafat – Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations demanded that the Zionist regime answer for its crimes in occupied Palestine and said: The Security Council must implement its resolutions for the right to self-determination of the Palestinian nation.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Pakistan’s official news agency, Munir Akram, during a speech at the meeting of the members of the UN Security Council, strongly condemned the recent extensive military operation of the usurping Zionist regime in the Jenin camp and demanded Israel’s accountability for its severe violations of human rights and its crimes in occupied Palestine.
Munir Akram blamed the Security Council’s passive reaction to the Palestinian issue and added: “Unfortunately, the Security Council has not been able to fulfill its main responsibility to maintain international peace and security in occupied Palestine.”

He emphasized: Pakistan demands the UN Security Council to fully and forcefully implement its resolutions regarding the resolution of Middle East conflicts, including the right to self-determination of the Palestinian nation.
The permanent representative of Pakistan stated: Unfortunately, the killing of people or the defense of Palestine, including children and women, at the hands of Israel continues with the complete immunity of this regime. While the rule of law can only be supported when it is universally and consistently applied without exception or double standards.
He stated: The continued expansion of Israeli settlements in the occupied territories and the expulsion of Palestinians from their homes and ancestral lands is a serious violation of Security Council resolutions and international laws and human rights.
Munir Akram said: Until an independent Palestinian state is established based on the pre-1967 borders with Quds Sharif as its capital, lasting peace will not be established in the land of Jerusalem.
