Leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan: The blood of Sardar Soleimani is a source of honor for Islam

The leader of the Jamaat-e-Islami Party of Pakistan called the assassination of Sardar Qassem Soleimani, the martyred commander of the Quds Force, a great oppression against Islam and said: We are always by the side of the oppressed and we believe that the blood of this great martyr is the pride of the Muslims of the world.

“Siraj al-Haq” on the sidelines of a meeting with the Secretary General of the World Assembly for the Rapprochement of Islamic Religions and the Iranian delegation in Lahore in an interview with IRNA added: The assassination of Iran’s senior commander is the result of a great injustice to Islam that we have witnessed.

He emphasized: The tragedy of the assassination of Sardar Soleimani in the territory of an Islamic country is like the aggression of foreign forces, which we condemn and emphasize the support of the oppressed.

Siraj al-Haq stated that the enemies have taken advantage of the chaos among the Islamic nations and we see the result of these conspiracies in events such as the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force.

He emphasized: We need unity and solidarity to prevent terrorist operations and unilateral actions, and we must stand by the oppressed.

In the morning of January 3, 2020, Sardar Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards, Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, deputy commander of the Iraqi People’s Force (Al-Hashd al-Shabi), and his companions were martyred in a missile attack by American drones. The attack was carried out on the direct orders of US terrorist President Donald Trump.

Less than two weeks after the US terrorist operation in Baghdad and the martyrdom of resistance leaders, a 9-member delegation of the Pakistan National Solidarity Council, chaired by Liaqat Baloch, Secretary General and Vice President of the Jamaat-e-Islami, offered condolences to the Iranian people and the bereaved Sardar’s family.

According to the report, the leader of the Jamaat-e-Islami of Pakistan yesterday (Thursday) in a meeting with Hojjat-ul-Islam and Muslims Hamid Shahriari mentioned the influential role of Tehran and Islamabad in helping solve the problems of the Islamic world and regional crises, especially the situation in Afghanistan: The positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran are considered important in the discussion of the unity and rapprochement of Islamic religions.

In an interview with IRNA, the Secretary General of the Association for the Rapprochement of Religions also said that the meeting focused on the commonalities of the two neighboring countries and some of the problems facing the Islamic world, especially the issue of Palestine.
