The Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: “The fight against terrorism, drug trafficking, fuel and human beings are among the important areas in order to strengthen Tehran-Islamabad relations.”

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Qasim Khan Suri, who has traveled to Tehran to meet with the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart, met yesterday with Ali Nikzad Samarin, Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

Ali Nikzad emphasized that the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been based on cooperation with neighboring countries from the beginning, noting that the expansion of interactions and bilateral relations with Pakistan as a friendly and brotherly country has always been important for the Islamic Republic of Iran. And the Islamic Consultative Assembly supports the development of interactions between the two countries.

He described the United States as “the biggest problem of global security” and said that “the United States has exploited nations through the United Nations, international organizations, environmental issues, the dollar and everything in between.”

Referring to the importance of promoting relations between the two countries for Islamabad, Qasim Khan Suri, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, said: “The historical, cultural, social and religious commonalities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan have created a favorable environment for expanding relations between the two countries.” .

Referring to the visit of the officials of the two countries and holding bilateral meetings and talks, he noted: “The Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan, as two friendly and brotherly countries, have helped each other in the most difficult conditions and these meetings are effective in expanding bilateral interactions.”

He said that the common enemies of the two countries seek to weaken the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan, adding that trade cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan in the fields of agriculture, energy and other fields, in addition to strengthening relations between the two countries. Be.

“Tehran and Islamabad have always helped each other during difficult times,” he said.
