As president of the United States during his one-year rule, he returned to the Paris Climate Agreement, halted US withdrawal from the World Health Organization, approved a trillion-dollar investment plan, reduced unemployment to 3.9 percent, and provided the corona vaccine for widespread vaccination.
However, the 79-year-old American’s popularity is still declining, and more than half of its citizens still do not consider him worthy, and the curve is declining. What has happened?
Americans love success, and they want someone at the top of their country who will live up to their word, or at least fight for their promises and make fiery speeches. Trump won about 1 million more votes in the November 2020 election than when he won in 2016. As president, he kept almost all of his promises.
But Biden won the election as an anti-Trump. His goal was to save American democracy from the plots of the democrats. He wanted to restore decency and build bridges between the people and political parties.
These goals seemed good and right, and their urgency was strengthened by the attack on the Congress building on January 6, 2021. But are these goals enough to have a successful full presidential term? Precisely because Biden is president and his party dominates Congress, any negative news reinforces the opposition’s accusation that his team is an amateur.
