The reasons for Erdogan’s turn to the Zionist regime

Referring to the Israeli regime’s visit to Turkey, the international affairs expert said: Erdogan seems to have no choice but to improve his relations with Egypt and the Israeli regime in order to achieve his goals in the Eastern Mediterranean (using the Mediterranean oil and gas capacity).

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Service, Last week, Israeli President Ishaq Herzog traveled to Turkey, which caused a lot of frustration and protests for the Turkish government and Recep Tayyip Erdogan; Regardless of these popular protests, of course, Erdogan laid the foundation stone for welcoming his guest at the BeÅŸtepe Presidential Palace in Ankara, and appearances showed that he was trying to send an important message to the world.

The visit also took place at a time when Turkey had many political disputes with the Zionist regime in the region after 2008, and even Erdogan took steps to support the oppressed people of Palestine in order to maintain his value and position among Islamic and Arab countries. In addition, until recently, Erdogan was considered by many Turkish government officials, as well as the AKP, to be a terrorist and oppressive regime.

With all these interpretations, Erdogan has now decided to normalize his relations with the Zionist regime and has even called for increased interactions with the Zionist regime in various fields, especially in the field of energy.

Now the question is why Erdogan decided to normalize his relations with the Zionist regime?

In an interview with Tasnim, Asghar Zarei, an expert on international affairs, referred to the widespread and unprecedented protests of the Turkish people against the visit of the President of the Zionist regime: Ishaq Herzog’s visit to Turkey caused many protests in different cities of Turkey.

Why did Erdogan enter the normalization of Turkey’s relations with the Zionist regime?

“Fortunately, there was an awakening of the Turkish people in the protests against the visit of the Zionist regime,” he said: The protests were attended by the main sections of the Turkish population, including the native, local and traditional strata of Turkey, and even these protests took place in Istanbul, which is known as the center of modernity in Turkey, and we saw the flags of the Zionist regime burned.

The international affairs expert added: In these protests, the Turkish nation held pictures of Hajj Qassem Soleimani as a sign of support for the oppressed people of Palestine and protesting the visit of the Zionist regime to Turkey.

He added: During Erdogan’s meeting with the Israeli president, emphasis was placed on increasing interactions in the fields of energy (oil and gas), economy and trade, and the two sides also held security consultations.

Zarei further pointed out the consequences of normalizing Turkey’s relations with the Zionist regime and said: Erdogan’s political life seems to be coming to an end, and Erdogan’s political life as well as his physical condition is coming to an end, and all these actions prove that Erdogan is throwing his strings everywhere to stay in power.

He added: Erdogan seems to have no choice but to improve his relations with Egypt and the Israeli regime in order to achieve his goals in the Eastern Mediterranean (using the Mediterranean oil and gas capacity). He is in control of the south, and this may be why Erdogan invited the head of the Zionist regime to Turkey to increase interactions. On the other hand, Erdogan has been involved enough with Greece, Southern Cyprus and the European Union to use the God-given resources of the Eastern Mediterranean, and the continuation of the current trend will certainly lead to military disputes; Of course, Turkey has been completely in control of the situation in Northern Cyprus for several years and is by no means satisfied with losing this important and strategic area easily, because this region has a lot of achievements for the country in terms of oil, gas and hydrocarbon resources.
