The Guardian newspaper reported on Wednesday, quoting the statement of the European Union agency for cooperation in the implementation of the “Europol” law, that a large European cocaine trafficking network was broken up and 49 suspects related to different countries were arrested, including 6 important targets in Dubai, UAE.
This newspaper noted that the operators of this network felt that due to the facilities provided to them by the (Emirati) authorities and the high standard of living in Dubai, there is no possibility of harm or any harm to them.
According to this report, these arrests were made following the results of the investigations conducted in Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UAE, which were carried out with the support of Europol regarding the extensive activities of this drug trafficking and money laundering network.

The public prosecutor of the Netherlands has announced that he will request the extradition of the suspects in this case from the United Arab Emirates.
