The next Arab summit is the beginning of an end to the conflict

Referring to Algeria’s efforts to make the forthcoming Arab summit successful, the editor-in-chief of Rai Al-Youm expressed hope that the summit would be the beginning of an end to the conflict.

Pak Sahafat news agency – Abdolbari Atwan wrote: Algeria is working on the success of the forthcoming Arab summit to be held in this country, and we hope that this summit will be the beginning of the reunification of the Arab countries.

After a period of stagnation, Algerian diplomacy has begun to move actively on various Arab, African and European fronts to make up for a period of absence caused by the inability of former President Abdulaziz Bouteflika to regain its regional and international role. And it has begun by trying to make the Arab summit in Algeria, which is scheduled for next March, a success, to revive the joint agenda of the Arab states, all of which will focus on the main issue, Palestine, and Syria a seat.

According to the editor of Rai Al-Youm, two important indicators can be observed in this regard, which show Algeria’s new strategy for 2022, these two indicators are:

First: The visit of Algerian President Abdel Majid Taboun to Cairo, which is scheduled to take place in the next few days, and the purpose of this visit is to strengthen relations between the two countries, normalize it, eliminate all ambiguities and increase the level of coordination between the two countries in all fields.

Second: A telephone conversation between Algerian “veteran” Foreign Minister Ramatan Lamara and his Qatari counterpart Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani. The purpose of the telephone conversation was to persuade Egypt to withdraw its opposition to Syria’s return to the Arab League and the presence of Amir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani at the next meeting of Arab leaders.

Algeria provided many services to Qatar and played a major role in supporting African countries in Qatar’s bid to host the World Cup. And it is worth mentioning that Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa, the former Emir of Qatar, immediately went to Algeria from Zurich after winning the World Cup to thank the leaders of this country for their support.

The Algerian resistance has made Algeria one of Tel Aviv’s targets, especially after the Zionist regime’s efforts to infiltrate the African continent politically, economically and militarily, and to close diplomatic channels to a regime seeking to become an observer member of the African Union that Algeria joined the Axis of Resistance, directly or indirectly, and strengthened its relations with Iran, which is an existential threat to the Zionist regime.

Over the past few weeks, Teboun has taken several initiatives to strengthen his country’s new approach, the most prominent of which is to invite Palestinian groups to a reconciliation conference in Algeria as soon as possible.

His other move was to travel to Tunisia and provide $ 300 million in financial assistance so that he could overcome his current and severe financial crisis and the Tunisian government could pay its employees.

Algeria is doing its best to have the leaders of all Arab countries, or at least a large number of them, attend the next meeting, and to achieve these goals we do not rule out that the Algerian president will travel to most Arab capitals, and his first destination is Cairo.
