Israeli party leaders addressed the Knesset before the vote of confidence in a coalition aimed at ousting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Initially, Naftali Bennett, the leader of the Yemeni party, which is the only party in the new cabinet, was repeatedly interrupted by representatives of pro-Netanyahu parties at the beginning of his speech. The controversy between the pro- and anti-Knesset delegations in the Knesset escalated to the point where the Knesset’s guards and security forces eventually stepped in and led the majority of Bint’s opponents out of the court.

The meeting was in fact a new stage in the process of prosecuting Netanyahu, who is being tried as the first prime minister in Israel’s history before leaving power.
Undoubtedly, Netanyahu and all those close to the party and his family understood well what their situation was, and for this reason, they considered the only way out at the end of their lives to be securing the regime’s internal space.
