The aftershocks of the 12-day war; Disputes between Tel Aviv political and military officials

Hebrew-language media have reported that Israeli military officials are trying to persuade Israeli politicians to go to war again in Gaza.

Israeli military analysts have written in Hebrew-language newspapers, citing Israeli military sources, that the Zionist army considers war in the Gaza Strip again.

According to the Arab 48 website, Yossi Yehoshua, a military analyst at the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, wrote in an article that Despite declaring a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, Zionist military officials expect the regime’s cabinet to agree to their recommendations and demands, despite Israel’s image in the international community being severely tarnished by the US-backed stance calling for an end to the conflict.

The Zionist army has also advised the regime’s cabinet to prevent Qatari financial packages from entering Gaza, claiming that the money will go directly to Hamas, which the movement has used to expand its capabilities, including building rockets and drones.

Yedioth Ahronoth went on to write that the recommendations put Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a difficult position.

Ronin Brigman, an intelligence analyst at Yedioth Ahronoth, also quoted Israeli military sources as saying that the Hamas movement would take one to one and a half years to rebuild and acquire weapons, during which time it would be able to enter the war.

This claim is made while “Osama Hamdan” from Hamas officials, recently told the Associated Press: “I can assure you that based on what we saw in the early days, the attack on Tel Aviv and some areas of Jerusalem could last not for a few days but for several months.”

Brigman also wrote: “Hamas has achieved a success that is not comparable to other successes, and that is that it has made the issue of Palestine a global concern again and has dealt a severe blow to the face of Israel and Judaism in general, and Israel will have many years to recover. “

On Friday morning, after some news sources reported the possibility of a ceasefire, the Zionist regime’s security cabinet officially agreed to a ceasefire and a ceasefire mediated by Egypt after 12 days.

An hour later, Palestinian resistance groups said in separate statements that they would abide by the ceasefire until Tel Aviv adhered to the ceasefire.

Palestinians took to the streets in Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, to celebrate the victory of the resistance, while all the Zionist media acknowledged Tel Aviv’s defeat in this new adventure against the Palestinian resistance and the huge costs of the Zionist regime during this period.
