Take a look at the “acquittal industry” in the United States / how do police officers escape trial?

US police are seeking the support of a network of experts and industry to escape punishment in the wake of the murder.

The killing of civilians by US police or the killing of prisoners are some of the most obscure deaths, the causes of which, on the one hand, and the punishment of their perpetrators, on the other, are never properly clarified.

According to the Pak Sahafat news agecny, the deaths of suspects and detainees as a result of the firing of “teasers”, “Chowk Hold” tactics, etc., by the American police are among the deaths that mainly cause the victim’s family to complain, but these cases are in court due to the opinion of doctors and experts. In the absence of evidence, clinically significant adverse events are closed.

What is clear is that US police-related experts have been instrumental in acquitting US police officers in these cases, especially in cases where the cause of death is not immediately apparent.

These experts make US police tactics even more aggressive when detaining and detaining detainees.

For the past two decades, for example, an expert physician who has served as a leading expert in these cases has sought to establish that US police techniques and tactics, such as lowering the face down, shocks, and stepping on the knees.

A review of 25,000 pages of court documents and interviews with the families of 32 victims by US police shows that a cadre of scientists, lawyers, doctors and other police experts have almost always been involved in acquitting officers of murder charges by presenting their investigations and testimonies.

In fact, these individuals have formed the acquittal industry, which, at the expense of millions of taxpayers, has covered the acquittal of accused officers in recent decades.

Although not all network experts and researchers testify frequently in court, they usually receive $ 500 to $ 1,000 an hour each time they testify in court.

They also attend death prevention conferences while incarcerated and receive large sums of money.

The New York Times has identified more than 100 life-threatening deaths and injuries over the past 15 years involving a network of U.S. police experts.

Two important points about this network are, first, that a large number of people in this network who provide medical advice are not physicians at all, and second, that the vote in these cases in favor of the US police is the basis for citing similar cases.

In most of these cases, police officers are rarely charged, and about two-thirds of the cases are settled out of court; of the 28 cases in which judges and juries ruled, 16 were in favor of the US police, and a number of cases are still pending.

The term acquittal industry is directly related to the makers of teasers and devices used by the US police; some police experts have even worked for these companies before; the industry even takes advantage of jobs that are dedicated to training and advising network experts to reduce legal liability.

One of these Texas-based consulting firms is proud of its track record of providing 6,300 consultations to the state police.

The idea of ”arrest-related death syndrome” in support of police officers accused of murder and providing explanations for the dead states that “excitement, without providing better control techniques scientifically, does not add any benefit and only exacerbates tensions between law enforcement and society.

The lawyers of Derek Shovin, a former Minneapolis officer convicted in the murder of George Floyd, used the same network of researchers and experts.

The New York Times analysis of more than 230 scientific articles in the National Library of Medicine database published since the 1980s shows that the results of surveys by the American Police Expert Network differ significantly from those published by other scientists and physicians.
