This statistic shows an increase of 9.3% compared to the previous year. According to the published report; Two-thirds of the victims of domestic violence in Germany have been a woman, which is estimated to be higher than the recorded cases due to the fear of the victims going to the police.
According to this report, the states of Saarland (with 19.7%), Thuringia (18.1%) and Baden-Württemberg (13.1%) saw the highest increase in domestic violence cases last year.
According to this statistic, among 16 states, only in the state of Bremen (negative 13.6%) the number of domestic violence has decreased.

First; one of the axes of German foreign policy is relying on human rights issues in other countries, especially in the field of women.
