How did Hezbollah’s drone expose the inefficiency of Israel’s “Iron Dome”?

Abdul Bari Atwan, referring to Zionist confusion after Hezbollah drones penetrated deep into occupied Palestine, said that this exposed Israel’s false claims about the Iron Dome.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, Hezbollah in Lebanon said in a statement yesterday that a Hassan UAV had flown for 40 minutes at a depth of 70 km north of occupied Palestine and had successfully returned to Lebanon after completing its mission. The Zionist media and experts in this regard strongly criticized the Israeli air force and army: How will those who failed to intercept a small drone deal with 3,000 missiles and rockets daily in the coming war?

In his new article, Abdul Bari Atwan, a well-known analyst in the Arab world and editor-in-chief of the newspaper Ray Al-Youm, examines the infiltration of Hezbollah drones into the skies of occupied Palestine and the inability of the Zionists to intercept it: When Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, in his speech on Wednesday night on the anniversary of the martyrs of the resistance, stressed that Hezbollah now has thousands of high-precision ballistic missiles and hundreds of advanced UAVs, all of which are domestically produced and built by local experts.

He added: But what seems certain is that Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah knew full well that Hezbollah’s military wing was preparing to launch the Hassan UAV. The drone on a reconnaissance mission managed to make a 40-minute flight at a depth of 70 km north of occupied Palestine and return safely to Lebanon, a matter that has confused all Israeli experts and analysts, and opened a new chapter in the Arab-Israeli conflict and its aftermath.

The article added: There is no doubt that the Lebanese resistance’s precise statement about the drone’s infiltration into occupied Palestine emphasizes that Hezbollah always tells the truth and has no intention of misleading or exaggerating, Wrote his Twitter account; “Fighter planes and helicopters were deployed to intercept Hezbollah drones, and even the Iron Dome system fired its missiles and sounded sirens, but the drone was able to return to Lebanon after flying over Israel (occupied Palestine).

Abdul Bari Atwan added: It is noteworthy that this huge military rift in the Israeli army and the infiltration of Hezbollah drones into occupied Palestine took place a day after the military spokesman of the Zionist regime announced the flight of two drones in the skies of the occupied territories, one from southern Lebanon and the other came from the Gaza Strip, which means that we are moving to the stage of highly advanced UAVs that penetrate the airspace of the occupied territories from the north and south.

This prominent analyst of the Arab world emphasized: This issue has created a high psychological shock between the Zionist settlers and its officials, and makes them distrust the Zionist army. The Israelis, who are basically in a state of anxiety and panic, pack their bags and flee to Europe, the United States and Canada in search of safe havens, and this is what the Zionist media has admitted.

Atwan clarified: A small reconnaissance drone costing only a few hundred dollars to infiltrate the airspace of occupied Palestine and fail to intercept US-built warplanes and helicopters, as well as the millions of dollars’ worth of Iron Dome systems, a major achievement for the resistance movement. It is Lebanese Islam and predicts a dark future for the occupying regime and the settlers.

He continued: This Hezbollah drone reminds us of the bird of Ababil; The drone, which flew confidently and powerfully for more than 40 minutes in enemy airspace, captured thousands of photos of enemy military bases in northern Palestine and returned safely to Lebanon, bringing with it valuable information. Cornet Resistance Missiles Destroyed the myth of the Zionist regime’s Merkava tanks in the July 2006 war and the Gaza war in 2014, and now we see that after the ballistic missiles, the resistance drones hit the Iron Dome and exposed its false claims. At the same time, it expresses the capabilities and self-sufficiency of the resistance axis and its groups.

Atwan went on to quote Israeli military analyst Ove Hiller on Channel 13 television as saying that “Hezbollah’s drone confirms the new failure of the Iron Dome system in northern Israel (occupied territories).”

Atwan expressed: We hope that some countries in the Persian Gulf, which are competing for billions of dollars to buy the Iron Dome system and think that the system will protect them, have followed the details of Israel’s defeat against the resistance drones. It should be noted that in addition to Hezbollah, the Yemeni brothers also have these professional and combat capabilities.
