Behind the scenes of the Saudis’ anger over the Lebanese minister’s remarks

The Saudi regime’s insane and hysterical response to remarks by Lebanese Information Minister George Qardahi, who described the Saudi coalition’s aggression against the Yemeni people as an “absurd war,” highlights the extent of the moral decline of Riyadh officials, especially Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Those who are aware of the nature of Crown Prince Bin salman know that the hysteria that befell Saudi politics spread from Bin salman to the entire Saudi political arena, and so at the beginning of his reign he started the war in Yemen, and declared hostility against the Islamic Republic, Qatar has been under complete siege and is trying to overthrow the Lebanese regime, and recently this hysteria has spread to Lebanon; However, all aspects of this policy have completely failed.

The Saudi regime initially apologized to the Lebanese Minister of Information, as well as to the Lebanese government, and ordered the Lebanese ambassador to Saudi Arabia to leave the country without giving the Lebanese government a chance to investigate.

While the aim of this Saudi attack is to overthrow the Lebanese government, the apology is not effective. The Saudi regime, while boycotting Lebanese goods, also called on Bahrain and the UAE to ban Lebanese goods from entering their countries. All this happened, but the Saudis are well aware of the depth of the economic crisis in Lebanon, which the US-Saudi-Zionist coalition has created with the aim of getting rid of the weapons of resistance.

Saudi Arabia’s invitation to Lebanon to apologize for Qardahi’s remarks – which he made before taking over the ministry of information about the Yemeni war – comes at a time when such remarks are not unprecedented and some US and Western officials have called for an end to the war.

Some argue that Saudi Arabia’s request to Lebanon for an “apology” is merely an excuse, and that there are clear reasons and motives behind this excuse, all of which revolve around the weapons of resistance, otherwise it has nothing to do with the “dignity and honor” of Al Saud. The international community understood the truth of Al Saud’s dignity when former US President Donald Trump described the regime as a “milking cow” with nothing but money. “We are protecting Saudi Arabia,” Trump even told supporters.

You may say that they are rich and I love the king, King Salman. But I said, “King, we are protecting you. You will not last two weeks without us.” You have to pay for your army. “In the face of these insults and similar insults of Trump to King Salman, but the zeal of the Saudis did not boil and they bought these insults during the 4 years of the Trump administration.
