An analysis of the new cabinet of the Zionist regime; New coalition or new dispute !?

The cabinet that is being formed in the Zionist regime is already the position of forming disputes that, even if formed, are so fragile that they will not last long.

According to Israeli media reports, a new Israeli cabinet will be formed in the next 10 days, following an agreement reached between Naftali Bennett, the leader of the Yemina party, and Yair Lapid, the leader of the Yash Atid party. If this news is true, the parties “Yemina”, “Yash Atid”, “Kar”, “Abi Sefid”, “Joint Arab List” and “Omidno” will form a coalition consisting of 64 seats in the Knesset of the Zionist regime. They will bring and the new cabinet of the Zionist regime will be formed.

According to the Israeli media, in the agreement reached between “Lapid” and “Bennett”, each of them will hold the cabinet for a period of 2 years. Bennett will be the prime minister until 2023, and Lapid will be prime minister from 2023 to 2025.

Periodic prime ministership is a sign of the weakness of the political structure of the Zionist regime

During the last 3 years, when the cabinet of the 34th Zionist regime disintegrated in November 2018 with the departure of Avigdor Lieberman, none of the political factions of the Zionist regime was able to form a coalition to form a cabinet in the 4 elections held. For this reason, the opposing political factions were forced to form a cabinet with two political factions, which resulted in an agreement for a caretaker prime minister. This means that in order to form a cabinet, each of the two parties that claimed to be prime minister agreed to hold half of the prime ministerial term and give the other half to their rival. A competitor with whom they have serious differences in many cases. This is the result of the weakness of the political system and the political parties of the Zionist regime in gaining sufficient and high seats in the Knesset of the Zionist regime.

Netanyahu and Gantz’s prime ministership

The cabinet that is currently working in the Zionist regime as an interim cabinet is the cabinet that came to power in April 2020, with the agreement of “Netanyahu” and “Gantz”. An agreement reached between the two last year stipulated that Netanyahu would be in charge for two years, after which Gantz would be prime minister for two years. But, as all analysts and the Zionist media predicted, Netanyahu did so in a way that led to the dissolution of the cabinet and the absence of Gantz as prime minister. However, the differences between the two sides were so great that even the annual budget of the Zionist regime was not approved in this cabinet.

Root and fragile cabinet differences

The cabinet to be formed by Lapid and Bennett is a contrasting cabinet. Lapid is a center-right separatist from Likud and a staunch opponent of Netanyahu, who has different views of the right in the social and economic spheres, and is far removed from the religious. Naftali Bennett, on the other hand, is a full-fledged right-winger who, in many cases, is remarkably close to the religious. He has a history of working with religious figures in his career under Netanyahu. Now he has to be next to Lapid. One who is strongly opposed to religion and does not accept the views of Netanyahu and the right, especially in the military and social spheres. This means a contradiction ready to be made public that will manifest itself in the new cabinet.

Conflict between the traditional left and the far right

The fragility of the new cabinet does not end there, and with the presence of the “Labor” party, which has completely leftist views, it reaches another culmination. Where Bennett’s extremist views will conflict with the Labor Party’s leftist views. Add to this the differences between the “blue and white” and other members of the coalition.

A red line called the Arabic Common List

But the culmination of the conflict in the current cabinet is completed by the presence of a joint Arab list. The presence of the Palestinians is a red line among the political parties of the Zionist regime. Now this coalition can only be formed with the presence of the Palestinians, but if the Palestinians are not given ministries, will they remain in the coalition? But even if the ministry reaches them, we will have to witness the attack of the internal assemblies of the Zionist regime and the rightists on the present cabinet.

Attack of the rights

Despite all these differences, the pro-Netanyahu front, which includes a set of right-wingers and extremist religious figures, is ready to block the cabinet. This issue becomes more serious when we know that many members of the Lapid, Benignants and Bennett parties have serious ties to them because of their presence in the Likud and the right wing. In addition, within the parties of the new Israeli coalition, some people are opposed to the formation of the “Lapid” and “Bennett” coalitions, and are ready to prevent serious shamings.
