America’s dual approaches; Helping Yemen while supporting the aggressors

Pak Sahafat – US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, at the same time as his country supports the aggressors in Yemen, announced that it will help Yemen with 444 million dollars.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said on Monday local time that the country will contribute 444 million US dollars to Yemen’s humanitarian needs.

Blinken added that this new aid brings the total US aid to Yemen to 5.4 billion dollars since the beginning of the eight-year war in this country.

Without the slightest reference to supporting the aggressors in Yemen, he claimed that this aid will enable the humanitarian partners of the United States to “provide life-saving aid to the most vulnerable people of Yemen.”

Blinken noted that Yemen needs “much more” aid.

He called on all humanitarian donors to do their part to help raise the $4.3 billion announced by the United Nations.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said: More than 21 million people in Yemen – two out of three Yemeni children, women and men – need help and protection.

The UN Secretary General added: I call on all involved parties to facilitate the safe, rapid and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to all Yemeni civilians in line with their obligations under international humanitarian law.

The ceasefire in Yemen, which has been repeatedly violated by the aggressor Saudi coalition, was extended once before following UN consultations. The 2-month extension of this ceasefire ended on August 11, which was extended again and ended on October 10.

Saudi Arabia, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries, including the UAE, and with the help and green light of the United States, launched massive attacks against Yemen – the poorest Arab country – on the pretext of returning the resigned president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and fugitives of this country should fulfill their political ambitions and goals.

However, the Saudi coalition failed to achieve these goals due to the courageous resistance of the people and armed forces of Yemen and their special missile and drone operations and was forced to accept a ceasefire, which also took place after three phases of two months as a result of the violations of the Arab aggressor coalition.

The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement emphasized in a recent statement: terrorist groups created by America and the West and their tools to tarnish the face of Islam.

Syed Abdul Malik al-Houthi added: America disrupts the security of the Islamic Ummah through the creation of takfiri groups and puts pressure on some regimes to facilitate the operations of these groups.

He continued: The American government dominates the resources of nations through the dollar, targets their national currency, and Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries of the Persian Gulf also serve America in this regard by linking the dollar and oil.

“Ali al-Kahhoum”, a member of the Yemeni Ansarullah Political Office, also pointed to the stone-throwing of the United States and England in the humanitarian case of Yemen and says that the path to peace passes through the gate of this case and the expulsion of foreign forces from this country.
