Al-Aqsa Mosque; Netanyahu’s escape from pressure

Pak Sahafat – The situation in Al-Aqsa Mosque is on the verge of explosion after the Zionist extremist groups called to pollute the courtyard of this place with the blood of animals slaughtered during Passover and the attack of the occupying forces on the Palestinian retreatants and squatters in and around the courtyard of this mosque, but the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime Catch your fish from this muddy water.

According to Pak Shafat News Agency, the situation in occupied Palestine is getting more complicated day by day. The voices of the protesters against the Zionist government, which arose after the implementation of the judicial reform bill, have not been silenced yet.

For several weeks, the streets of the main cities in the occupied territory had become the arena of confrontation between the opposition and the Zionist regime police, and some media reported that the largest number of gatherings in one night was up to 90,000 people.

Street clashes with protesters and violence in front of them created such scenes that opened the feet of foreign allies of this regime.

Even though the European Union considered these events as “Israel’s internal affairs” and refused to react directly, the American government and the President of the United States sent their message to Netanyahu by exerting pressure; especially those who announced that they will not host the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime in the White House.

The pressure on Netanyahu and the increase in the power struggle, which caused the opposition groups to surpass the government coalition in the polls, forced him to withdraw from submitting the judicial reform bill to the Knesset (the parliament of this regime) for its implementation.

Despite all this, the new round of adventures of the Zionist regime in the neighboring areas of the occupied land, i.e. Syria and Gaza, was not enough to divert minds from street riots and riots, and Netanyahu needed a new tactic.

The excuse for this issue was provided by the Zionist extremists – that is, the same groups present in the coalition government – on the occasion of Passover.

Passover; from the heart of history to today

The word “Passover” means “passover” in Hebrew and refers to the time when the Israelites left Egypt in the 14th month of Abib or Nisan in 1513 BC (Exodus 12:27; 13:15) as it is mentioned in the Jewish sources, the Israelites sprinkled some of the blood of a lamb or a goat on the door frame of their house before leaving.

Even now, religious orthodox Zionists believe that on the occasion of this Eid, which lasts for seven days, each family should choose a one-year-old lamb or goat on the tenth day of the month of Abib (or Nisan) and sacrifice it on the fourteenth day.

Therefore, the radical Zionist group known as “Return to the Temple Mount” had called the settlers and their families to go to Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday for the ritual of sacrifice.

The extremists’ intention is to pollute the courtyard of this historic site with the blood of sacrificial animals, which has a valuable place for Jews, Christians, and Muslims, and this has angered the Palestinians. The United Nations Scientific, Cultural and Educational Organization (UNESCO) in a resolution dated October 22, 2017, considered the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its grounds in the city of Jerusalem as Islamic and belonging to Muslims.

The resistance groups invited the Palestinian people and families to attend the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyard at the same time as the Ramadan retreats, but on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, the Israeli military forces and settlers entered the Al-Qubali Mosque and threw sound bombs and continued to the mosque and assaulted them.

This conflict was such that the UN coordinator in the West Asia peace process described the images of violence inside the Al-Qubali mosque as “horrific” and said that he was “angry” and “worried” about the beating of Palestinians by the military and the arrest of many of them.

Jordan and the Palestinian Authority have also requested to hold a public meeting of the UN Security Council for Thursday.

It seems that Passover and its surroundings have so far provided an escape for Netanyahu, who was drowning in the vortex of internal conflicts and street riots, and occupied the minds.
